DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING

DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING is a strategy that gives researchers at NIDS, a novel way to use computing resources in the simulation—infrastructure, platform, and software that they use as a service. Scientific Research Use of DISTRIBUTED Simulation. It basically is an open-source framework, which is used to simulate cloud computing infrastructure and services. Java is its sole programming language and used to test a hypothesis pri by modeling and simulating a DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING environment. Ex: Dropbox, Gmail, Facebook.

PRACTICUM

At NIDS the PRACTICUM Learning process is adopted which basically a process of learning through experience, and is more narrowly defined as "learning through reflection on doing". PRACTICUM learning can include hands-on learning, but it does not always require students to evaluate their work. Hands-on laboratory experiments, internships, practicums, field exercises, study abroad, undergraduate research, and studio performances are all examples of PRACTICUM learning activities.
